Experienced faculty, some are as experienced as 30 years in teaching and industry combined. They have good communication skills and all are fluent in English. Not only that but they are also quite approachable and helpful. Visiting faculties are there for a few subjects but permanent ones are better as they give personal attention to every student.

Pretty good. All classrooms are air-conditioned and have smooth running projectors. A separate library is there for each department, they’re not too spacious but the required books can be found. The college has Wifi connectivity without any speed/coverage issues. Plus net labs are also a standby option.

Placements at MP Birla Institute of Management (MPBIM) are good with almost 100% students getting placed each year. The salaries that are offered to students range from 3.5 Lakh to 5.5 Lakh. ICICI & Honeywell are the usual recruiters. Finance and Marketing both students stand at equal opportunity for placements while HR students usually land up in one of these 2 sectors eventually.
College also helps in finding summer internships.

Location of MP Birla Institute of Management (MPBIM) is very convenient in terms of accessibility. It’s in the heart of Bangalore and equidistant from both Majestic & Shivajinagar, thus many buses ply here from both places.

Boys’ hostels are there in Rajajinagar while girls’ hostels are in Malleshwaram. Their charges are about 3200 a month excluding food. Wifi is there in hostels too but it’s not fast due to shared bandwidths.

Majority of students – about 80% of them – are from Karnataka. Rest are North Indians. Half of the students are engineers while rest is a mixture of BCom, BSc and BBM. Though majority of the students are fresher, quite a few of them also have work experience. There is no campus hence campus life is as great as can be in a single academic building. A lot of assignments are given at a time and all have to be submitted by dead line at any cost. 3 or 4 of them are given every week hence some amount of stress piles up but you must learn to cope with it to stay sane.

“Paradigm” is a national level management festival organized by students during November. “Walkathon” is a flagship event during the fest in which all the participants walk the marathon distance to spread awareness about some social cause. Apart from this there are clubs for various departments like marketing, finance & HR that keep organizing some or other event all through year.

85% attendance is compulsory. College is strict about it. They give a max 5% relaxation for participation in various events. Below 80% fines of 2000 to 2500 are collected or extra assignments are given. No other disciplinary issues prevalent, not even dress code only once a week.
