Students claim that this is the best part of their college - absolutely wonderful teachers. Also every Sunday there is a guest lecture which is taken by the top executives of renowned companies. Visiting faculty include professors from JBIMS as well.

The first look of the building isn't very impressive but it's because most of the building is used by the Arts, Science and Commerce College with just the top floor dedicated to the Management section. This floor is completely different from what you make of the remaining parts - it's clean, modern and refreshing. Swanky air-conditioned classrooms equipped with projectors, Wi-Fi connectivity and a well-maintained library with a good collection of books are enough to keep the students satisfied here and they don't seem to mind the lack of a campus or that it's just a one-storey college!

Placements are average and salaries hover somewhere around Rs. 3 - 3.5 lakh per year. A good thing about placements is that the college tries its best to get companies and very few students are finally left without jobs during the campus placements. The college is also very supportive during the summer and winter internships. Major recruiters include Tata Sky, Airtel, L&T; profiles offered are dominated by Finance followed by Marketing and HR.

Mumbai Institute of Management & Research (MIMR) is an integral part of the JK Knowledge centre campus in Nadkarni Park, Wadala (E). It's a pleasant 8 minute walk from Wadala Road railway station which falls on the Harbour line creating absolutely no issues for those residing along the Harbour line. Even for the Western and Central suburbs Dadar isn't far and you are bound to get company to share away your taxi fares.

There is no campus, and campus life is just like it was in your degree college. No hostel, no night outs - just plain old college life. "But we enjoy it !" claim the students. 75% attendance is compulsory and is strictly required to be maintained failing which internal marks are affected proportionate to the lack of attendance.
The crowd mostly consists of freshers and even those with job-ex haven't worked more than a year or two. B.Com and BMS graduates seem to dominate the classroom's strength and few engineers are found here.

Ashwamedh, the main festival of Mumbai Institute of Management & Research (MIMR), is held in February and all management colleges across Mumbai are invited to participate, although finally its just the students of the parent college which are found to enthusiastically take part in events during that time.

Mumbai Institute of Management & Research (MIMR) doesn't organize seminars by itself. The student community has to arrange for them and thus there are few seminars happening here. However, the college doesn't fall behind in organzing industrial visits - students experience great learning in the 2 or 3 industrial visits which are arranged for every year.
