Apart from the two or three highly knowledgeable and experienced teachers, most of the faculty is indifferent to the students' learning. "But isn't that the case with every second college?" comments a student for whom this has become a way of life.

NCRD Sterling Institute of Pharmacy does not fail to impress anyone on the first look - first class modern infrastructure, well equipped laboratories and nicely maintained classrooms. The students however claim that although the equipments are satisfactory, the materials provided during experiments are occasionally inappropriate. But apart from that and a lack of a bigger campus, no complaints with regards to infra.

NCRD Sterling Institute of Pharmacy (SIP) promises to place anyone who wants to take up a job and the college does its best to keep its word. While many of the graduates opt for higher studies, some have their family business to join. Only a handful remain and getting all of them placed is what the college boasts of almost achieving.

NCRD Sterling Institute of Pharmacy (SIP) lies at a pleasant 6 minute walk from Sea Woods Railway station on the harbour line although the official address mentions Nerul.

Keeping its condition in mind, the students prefer it to NOT be there. It looks as though some extra un-utilized space in the college was adorned with a few 3rd class plastic chairs and tables and was henceforth called the "canteen".
Food is no better - ask for a rasam wada (one of the ONLY 3 items available here - tea and coffee being the other two) and all you get is the tasteless wada and some brownish coloured water. Thank God they don't charge you that heavily.

NCRD Sterling Institute of Pharmacy is filled with Maharashtrians, which isn't surprising as the college is located in Navi Mumbai - a Maharashtrian dominated area. The crowd on the whole is decent, a healthy blend of studious and mischievious chaps, majority of them – boys.

Apart from the regular days like Rose day and traditional day, the students also participate in various events of Rx, the biggest pharmacy festival in Mumbai. They are also very active in sports events and practice sessions are held at the grounds of its sister institute.

Fines are levied proportionate to the attendance and if paid well in time, no problems with regards to attendance. However,, if it falls too low, you can expect to face harsher consequences.

Good for academics, second to only Bharati Vidyapeeth amongst pharmacy colleges in Navi Mumbai, NCRD Sterling Institute of Management has only big drawback - high fees coupled with heavy fines.
