Moreover, majority of the students here are either rural folk or people with conservative backgrounds. Unlike other pharmacy colleges in Hyderabad, boys outnumber the girls in the class.

Frustrated with teaching, students tend to bunk several lectures or even stay absent for the entire day and there's not much the college can do about it. Those with below 40% or 50% attendance are given empty threats and in extreme cases their parents may be summoned.
