Students claim that there is a lack of senior professors which the college is trying to negate as early as possible by bringing in more experienced teachers. Currently majority of the faculty comprises new teachers with little experience who although cannot impart knowledge in the best way but are quite friendly with the student community and their lectures turn out to be fun.

The college is relatively newer and students are satisfied with the facilities provided by the college. Classroom are clean and well ventilated, there is provision for internet and non-functional equipments are immediately replaced in the labs. A small library is the only shortcoming that students complain about as far as infra is concerned.

Shankarrao Ursal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research Centre is located in Kharadi, a small remote locality off Nagar Road in the Eastern outskirts of Pune. It's next to impossible to reach the college without a private vehicle since PMT buses as well as six-seater tempos drop you off at Nagar road which isn't really at a pleasantly walkable distance.

Shankarrao Ursal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research Centre is VERY strict about attendance. Fines are levied for every bunked lecture unless prior permission has been taken. If you are found to miss out on too many lectures don't be surprised if you get a year down.
