The students are totally satisfied with the faculty which comprise of well qualified professors with atleast 5-10 years of experience. “Most of them are PhDs” says one of the students. Communication is mostly in English with a little use of Hindi and Marathi for those who do not English very well.

The Institute has well-equipped laboratories with modern facilities supported by the library which is furnished with reference books, text books, national and international journals and internet facility as a part of informal teaching. The classrooms and the building however give you a feeling of a school with small benches and a few broken windows.

Dr. DY Patil Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research, Pimpri is located off the Mumbai-Pune Highway in Pimpri. Although a number of PMT buses ply on the highway, travelling by buses is quite inconvenient because the college is a good 20 minute walk from the where the bus drops you. A vehicle is always preferable.
