All the faculties are Masters, but only a few are experienced. Pharmacology and Pharmaceuticals teachers are very good and co-operative. They communicate with the students in English, Hindi or Marathi, as per demand by the students.

There are 2 L-shaped buildings in the college campus, an old and a new one. Old building is shared by the Pharmacy College and the school. New building is for management students. There’s a playground between these two buildings, which is most of the time occupied by the school children. The pharmacy building is a 4 storey structure. The classrooms are spacious and clean with comfortable benches, LCD projectors. College has an AC seminar hall. They have a good library with all possible books by internationally renowned authors in the field. Wi-Fi is not available but internet can be accessed from computer labs.

Modern college of Pharmacy is located in Nigadi town. PMT buses are available from Pune city and they drop you half a kilometre away from the college. The Bus frequency is good. Local trains are also there to Chichwad railway station, which is about 4 km from the college. Most students prefer to travel by their own vehicles.

Sadly there are no nearby hangouts for most of the colleges located on the outskirts of Pune. Modern college is no exception. Recently opened Fame Akurdi is some 6-7 kms away.

Attendance is not that big an issue in Modern college. Of course students are supposed to attend 75% of the lectures, but if you fall short of this no stern action is taken. In the most extreme cases parents are called to the college.
