According to DU rules, the students are supposed to maintain a minimum of 67%. From 50-67% the students are made to sign a bond and below that are sadly detained.

The campus, like any other Delhi University college, is huge. There is no hostel on the campus but students can use the DU common hostel. The students claim that the labs are very good. Seminar room is one of the only place in the college which is air-conditioned. The college encourages sports and this is even seen in the infrastructure maintained by the college for sports. College has performed well at various university and state level tournaments.

There are no separate placements for Motilal college, the students get placed by the DU from its placement cell. The students have to apply via them.

There are no problems as such about placements as written above. The college offers good placements and has a placement cell of its own apart from delhi university's centre placement cell. The faculty is quite awesome. A lot of companies like KPMG, ICICI Bank, Ernst and Young, GENPAC, Capital IQ etc. and the average package offered was 3.5 lacs.

The college is just outside the Delhi University South Campus. The college is located on a nice and peaceful road. The college is near the Ring Road but walking down till the college from there can be a bit difficult. The college is far from the nearest Metro station of AIIMS on the Yellow Line. Venky's and Ramlal, are its well known neighbours.

The canteen serves food which can be just qualified as edible but in their defence they charge very low rates. Some students call it the ‘sabse sasta canteen’. Motilal Nehru canteen is spacious also and a good place for students to chill.

The students prefer hanging around Satya Niketan. There are many outlets in the Satya Niketan area and they are good places to be ‘vella’ with your friends.

The crowd here is okay, you really cant call it decent, but it is better than Ramlal and Atmaram college. The college has cops on the entrance due to some infamous incidents which have happened in the past, but students claim that now it is very safe. The students are very friendly, said one of the student, but there is a general feeling among Delhi-Ites that this college is not safe. If you happen to witness fights outside the college then dont be surprised, that is what one of the cop said.

The faculty here is said to be quite strict. The faculty is well qualified and really helpful. There are many PhD professors which is a requirement of DU. The professors mainly communicate in Hindi and thankfully in English for the Arts section.
