The teaching staff at Keshav Mahavidyalaya is very okay. Teachers from Maths and Physics department are pretty good and students are extremely satisfied with their teaching. The Computer Science department has good lot of teachers and well versed with their respective topics. The lectures are conducted both in English and Hindi.

The college campus isn’t huge unlike other Delhi colleges but is decently neat and clean. Classrooms aren’t air conditioned but have good wooden unbroken benches. Library is equipped with an air conditioner and books are available in abundance with latest editions. There is wifi connectivity is the campus but the speed is too less and students aren’t pleased with it.

Students from the BBS, BCS and BBA departments get placed, obviously not great in numbers. The college isn’t well known for it’s placements despite being in DU. Sometimes, central placements are conducted and students go to the North Campus for job opportunities.

Located in the area of West Delhi, Keshav Mahavidyalaya is a College for Arts and Commerce. It is exactly located in Dipali Chowk and is easily accessible by metros and DTC buses. The nearest metro station, almost 2 kilometres, is Pitampura on the Red line and is roughly 10-15 minutes walking from the college. The metro feeders or Grahimi seva drops you to the college for Rs. 10 per person. DTC buses have an average frequency and don’t drop you to the college gate.

The food quality is pretty average and lacks variety in food items. Eventhough prices are affordable, less variety and okay quality makes the canteen a not-so-good parameter.

As the college is located pretty far from the main city, it lacks classiness in terms of hangouts. Some local chole kulche, pani puri is a standard preference for all the students. Apart from that Ranibaug, Delhi Haat and Metro walk are the ones where you see Keshav-ites.

Students have to maintain the weird 67% norm religiously, failing which parents are called. Even though the rule is to maintain 67, students say that an attendance around 55 is tolerated. Genuine cases are exempted and in extreme cases admit card is withheld.

Definitely not the best college in Delhi University, Keshav Mahavidyalaya should be preferred after the North Campus colleges. Location kills the enjoyment part though it’s good for studies. An average scorer should aim for this college.
