The teachers for the Arts department are pretty good. All the teachers have good knowledge about their subject and are pretty friendly (obviously, girls all around). The commerce department is average and nothing to boast about. Overall the teachers are like the ones in school and students find them annoying most of the times.

The small campus of Mata Sundri College has a decent building and non air conditioned classrooms. Th college has huge library which is fully air conditioned with helenkeller unit and OPAC. Library occupies a place of pride in Mata Sundri College. It is one of the most significant asset of the college. A spacious and comfortable reading room with an ample seating arrangement is the joy of students who would like to study, refer to and read. Free and ready access to the internet (via wi-fi) for students and faculty has made it possible for the college to reach higher and global levels of education. The college has fully airconditioned computer labs. Classrooms are big in comparison to campus colleges with projector facility in more than 50% of them. The fully-air conditioned auditorium has a seating capacity of more than 500. It offers a stage to the students to polish their communication and performing skills. It is the hub of all cultural activities and events. In addition to the latest lighting arrangements and a control room for facilitating recording and multimedia projections, a well- equipped audio system has also been installed. A number of green rooms are available back stage.

Barakhamba (5 min distannce) Via auto Blue line,Newdelhi (5 min distance ) Via Cycle rickshaw Yellow Line,ITO (5 Min) Walking distance Violet line,Tilak Bridge (10 min walking distance )railway station for students commuting from Ghaziabad and Faridabad
DTC buses have an average frequency but they drop you right outside the college gate. Overall, accessibility to the college isn’t a problem.

Even though the canteen food is edible and affordable, it lacks in variety. Students don’t find it any great place to eat though Rajma Chawal which is the most ordered in the canteen.

As the college is located in a ‘not so happening area’, one shouldn’t expect hell lot of places to eat. Some prefer to have the roadside pani puri and chole kulche. Connaught Place, famous as CP, is the ideal place for any student which is roughly around 5 kilometres from the college.

Mata Sundri College has a Sikh Minority Quota. Thus 50% of the seats are reserved for Sikh minorities, though more than 70% are seen in the college. Being a girls college, you’ll see a lot of them from conservative background and shy nature. Region wise, the crowd is primarily from Delhi and NCR belt. Rarely you see any student from other parts of India or foreign countries in this college.

Students have to maintain the 66% norm regularly failing which your lovely parents are called to the principal’s office. In most cases, students have to sign a bond writing that they’ll complete their attendance. In extreme cases, exam admit cards are withheld though one rarely sees this scenario in the college.

Although it's a safe college for girls, Mata Sundri College for Women is definitely not the best in Delhi. Students don’t get a lot of exposure thus the opportunities for personality development are low.
