The faculty at Miranda House is good. Teachers from the Arts department are pretty good and students rarely bunk their lectures. The teachers are quite co-operative and don’t throw any towering attitude towards students. All the teachers have sufficient years of experience in the field of education and conduct lectures purely in English.

Miranda House has a huge and green campus. The college building looks like one from an ancient era but is still classy. The non air conditioned classrooms, library with air conditioner and availability of books and wifi connectivity makes the overall infrastructure modern yet average.

Located in the North Campus of Delhi University, Miranda House is situated very close to the second gate of the campus and is easily noticeable by the blue sign boards at regular intervals. The nearest metro station is Vishwavidyalaya (Yes, the name of the station is because of the university and thus one can understand how famous and reputed the campus is) on the Yellow Line and is a minute walk from the main gate of the campus. There are hundreds of cycle rickshaws right at the gate of the university and outside every college within the North campus which charge you Rs. 10. The DTC bus frequency, especially for the North campus, is pretty awesome and drops you to the college gate at a mere cost of Rs. 10. Some prefer to come by their private vehicles while a few choose to walk to the college. In short, accessibility is not a problem and connectivity is superb.
OTE: There is a bicycle stand right outside the gate of the university which provides bicycles on a rental basis. The cost is Rs. 10 for four hours. Can’t expect anything cheaper than this!

At the North campus, you can expect one of the best hangouts in Kamla Nagar Market. There are various coffee chains like CCD and Barista, several fresh fruit juice parlours, chole bhatures roadside and many more. The Ridge is generally jam packed with couples of all the colleges within the campus. J.P tea stall at Delhi School of Economics (DSE) is also a common hangout for all the students. Movie lovers are seen in Plaza at Connaught Place (CP). Hudson Lane is also a great place having all the fast food chains and eateries.

Although the college is under Delhi University, there are a healthy number of students from other parts of India. A few foreign students are also seen in Miranda House. Overall the crowd is quite friendly. Being a ladies' college, you can expect some students coming from conservative backgrounds.

Students have to maintain 66% mark compulsorily failing which strict action will be taken against them. Rarely student gets a year drop but term marks are reduced depending upon the level of attendance.

Not the best girls college in Delhi or India, Miranda House still has the legacy due its name, strategic location and years of establishment, and of course the highly illustrious alumni it has produced.

If its girls college then it doesn't mean that the girls out there are conservative :/ Miranda House is one of the most popular colleges in india. It has got the hottest crowd in delhi university and is the most happening one. I'm a Mirandian ; very independent and open.
