The students are not very satisfied with the faculty in the first year and they are unable to learn the basics concepts. Faculties in the higher years of the course are better but since the base is not strong, the students find it hard to cope up. The faculty does not particularly support any kind of extracurricular activities, apart from studies.

The Azam campus which hosts Allana College of Architecture is huge because there are numerous other sister institutes within. However only one floor of one building is allotted to this college, and thus the students complain that the infrastructure is not up to the mark. The classroom are noisy because parallel lectures and other activities being conducted in close vicinity.

The college manages to get the student internships at various private firms, however only 10-12 students get through the final campus placements at the end of the course. The others have to find job themselves, or they go on for higher studies.

Allana College of Architecture is located in central Pune’s Camp Area which has excellent connectivity with all parts of the city. Travelling, thus, isn’t an issue here. Nearl y half the students commute by the local PMT buses, a very high ratio as compared to other colleges in Pune where most of the student prefer their own two-wheeler.

Since the campus Is big there are 9-10 different canteen and snack joints, so that you get a variety of food to choose from. There is a bakery and snack joint right at the entrance of the campus which is the most popular, and people stop over for refreshments. If you still want to try different kind of food, just jump over to the neighborhood campus- Poona College to enjoy Chinese delicacies.

Its Camp baby..!! There are abundant places to go around, and many a times you’ll find your group in a fight, over where to go and where not to. Having said that, you have to first escape the attendance trap set by the college. Some popular location being GS Mall, MG Road, Goli Bar Maidan (cricket and other sports), Kalyani Bakery, Nucleus, SGS.

Allana College of Architecture is a Muslim minority institute and hence the crowd is majorly Muslim. The crowd is a plus point of the college, and you could look forward to making good friends during your course. The seniors are very helpful and they help you find a way out of the silly issues the teachers may create.

There is a small cultural festival held but it has low participation from the students, because of zero co-ordination between the students and the teachers.

More than 75% is absolutely required for your internal marks not be affected. Students are warned a couple of times, before their parents are ultimately called for low attendance. Submission of journals and assignments before time prevents you from going into the bad books of the teachers and also more marks by default. So basically submit on time(or early) and stay safe.
